Enos Harold Woodwiss, born 1895, painter, decorator and signwriter in ordinary life, who was exempted from military service by the York Military Service Tribunal on 22 March 1916 conditional on working in the FAU, continued to serve in France until February1919. His brother Josh was killed in France.
