We know little about Philip. Philip was the son of Clara and Herbert Cole both were involved in the suffragist movement and anti war movement.Philip, an architect, was called up in September 1918; he refused to have anything to do with the military and was sentenced to prison. He was released in April 1919 under the ‘2 year rule’.
